2024 AAEA Fall Conference

This session will delve into the implementation of Behavior RTI at Hurricane Creek Elementary, part of the Bryant School District. The Behavior Team will share their step-by-step approach to creating and sustaining a school-wide positive behavior support system. Participants will learn how this data-driven model has significantly improved overall student behavior, reduced Tier 1 and 2 infractions, and decreased the number of Tier 3 office referrals within a single school year.

Melissa Weatherton and Paula Stone will discuss service options for children with developmental delays, IDD, and behavioral health needs and what Medicaid is doing to improve the care for these children in school settings.
